Copyright Policy

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors who publish with the Journal of Pharmacology and Drug Development (JPDD) retain full copyright of their work.

The journal does not require authors to transfer their copyright. Instead, authors grant JPDD a non-exclusive license to publish the article, to be identified as the original publisher, and to distribute the article under the terms of the Creative Commons license.

2. Licensing Policy

All articles published in JPDD are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

This license is the global standard for open access and permits the widest possible dissemination and reuse of scholarly work.

Under this license, all users are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially.

3. User Obligations (Attribution)

The CC BY 4.0 license allows for maximum reuse, but it requires that all users provide appropriate attribution to the original work. When reusing or sharing an article, you must:

  1. Give appropriate credit to the original author(s).

  2. Provide a full citation for the article, including a link to the original published version on the JPDD website.

  3. Provide a link to the CC BY 4.0 license.

  4. Indicate if any changes were made to the original material.

4. Author's Grant of License

By submitting a manuscript to JPDD, the authors warrant that they are the original creators of the work and have the full authority to grant this license. The authors agree to publish their article under the CC BY 4.0 license should it be accepted for publication.
